Here Brian Michael Bendis elucidates on some Secret Invasion intrigue: Nick Fury (old, white, douche) is laying low after the big reveal on Secret War (“Sorry for brainwashing you into invading Latveria and all, Canucklehead and others, it was all for the common good, etc, etc, etc.)/5. Bendis is back with volume two of stand-alone Secret Invasion stories and this one is slightly better than the first volume. The discovery of Skrull Elektra was the flash point for this cross over event/5. This is one of the best books in the "Secret Invasion" crossover series, with a hefty dose of gritty violence and some dark, alien psychology. Bendis' writing is notably stronger here than on the companion "Mighty Avengers" book (is he playing favorites) and the feel of this collection is more cohesive as well/5(17).
